Over the last twenty years, Jason Stefanik has consistently made advertising and branded content that has broken through into pop culture.
His work has been covered on every major network from The Today Show and SportsCenter, to publications like New York Magazine, The New York Times and The Onion and has even been parodied across an entire episode of South Park (which maybe better than any advertising award).
He is currently an EVP / Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi where he works on Proctor & Gamble’s fabric care business.
Before that, he was at dentsu creative where he was an Executive Creative Director leading all US advertising for Subway restaurants and global advertising for crypto currency platform FTX (before it collapsed into a staggering morass of greed, ego, theft and hubris. That’s not meant to sound bitter, that’s just what actually happened.) During his time at dentsu, he lead both clients to be shortlisted at Cannes and won multiple One Show pencils and ADC cubes. Even more impressive, he helped Subway beat their sales estimates by over 1 billion dollars and FTX’s profits grew by 1000%.
Prior to dentsu, Jason freelanced for five years at agencies like Droga5, Wieden + Kennedy, Johannes Leonardo and TBWA NY as well as working directly with brands like Bloomberg, VH1 and GNC.
His freelance tour was preceded by seven years at BBDO NY where he rose to be a VP/Creative Director running the Diet Dew and Champs Sports accounts. While at BBDO, he also won and launched the popular Foot Locker "Approved" campaign, as well as creating famous work for Snickers, FedEx and AT&T.
Jason graduated from Syracuse University with what he thought was an incredible portfolio until he arrived in NYC and was told it was, in fact, not very good at all. So over his career he has made it a priority to nurture up and coming talent, teaching at Pratt and City College, leading both schools to One Show pencils multiple years in a row.
He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, two boys and his dog Pants!.
